EuroVentures has an extensive experience in screening, analyzing, structuring and closing deals in the renewable power generation space, where our main area of expertise is wind power and hydropower.
 
Wind - EuroVentures has conducted the financial advisory and fund raising process for an international developer of energy and infrastructure projects, focused on sub-Saharan African. The project is a mid-sized wind farm in Africa with costs of over 50 million euros. EuroVentures produced the information memorandum, financial model and analysis and ran the investor selection process where we specifically, sourced, selected and negotiated with investors with an appetite for renewable energy and a robust view of investing in Africa. We were also involved in procuring and selecting the independent carbon credit advisor on behalf of the project, which will provide the project design document, create the local registration CDM agent and sell the carbon credits.
 
 
Hydro – EuroVentures led a consortium of bidders to capture the grant of a concession on a large hydro power plant in Brazil: Rio Madeira. EuroVentures built the team of developers, arranged 12 months of finance for the development and analysis costs to make the bid and led the due diligence (licenses, water flow, engineering, design etc) of the hydro power plant project.
